From Friendly Call of Duty Matches to the Carry1st Africa Cup 2026

Custom mountain-inspired trophies manufactured by Meta4 for the Carry1st Africa Cup 2026 finalists

If you’ve ever played Call of Duty with friends, you know how quickly a casual game can get serious. One bad move and suddenly everyone has something to say. Lose a match you should have won, and you’ll probably hear about it long after the game ends. But when you finally get that win? Nothing else matters for a while.

Now imagine that same competitive spirit, but instead of playing against your friends, you’re up against some of the best Call of Duty: Mobile players across Africa at the Carry1st Africa Cup 2026.

Beyond Bragging Rights: Africa’s Best CODM Players Take the Stage

The Carry1st Africa Cup gives African CODM players the opportunity to compete beyond friendly matches and prove themselves against the best on the continent.

The 2026 edition brought together 38 countries across five regions, with more than 150 teams competing for a place among the final eight.

Getting that far was no small feat. For the teams that reached the finals, this was more than another tournament; it was a chance to show how far their skills could take them. When a competition requires that much effort and determination, the winners deserve something worthy of the achievement.

That’s where Meta4 came in.

150 Teams, 8 Finalists, and Custom Trophies Worth Fighting For

As the official creative manufacturing partner for the Carry1st Africa Cup 2026, Meta4 designed and manufactured custom trophies for the finalists.

The trophies needed to recognize the effort it requires to compete against teams from across Africa, navigate a demanding tournament, and earn their place among the finalists while belonging to an event built around one of the world’s most recognisable gaming titles. This challenge called for a design developed specifically for the occasion.

So, for the Carry1st Africa Cup 2026, the central consideration was the significance of the competition itself. Our goal was to create trophies that the finalists could look back on and remember not just the win, but the competition that made it worth winning.

And we did just that. We created trophies inspired by mountains with a wide base and narrow peak, symbolizing the large number of players at the beginning of the tournament until it eventually narrowed into 8 finalists. It represented the tough fight for victory and the effort it took to get to the top.

What Stays on the Shelf When the Stage Lights Go Off

Think about the events you still remember years later. Chances are, you remember the people who were there, the moments that stood out, and the things that made the experience different from everything else. Recognition can be part of that, too.

That’s why when Meta4 designs and manufactures custom trophies, awards, keepsakes, and corporate gifts, we do it intentionally. Our work goes beyond adding a logo to an existing product. We develop designs around each brief or event, ensuring it truly carries the weight of the moment, represents the brand, and means something to the people receiving it.

We’ve worked on projects across different industries, from corporate recognition, like custom keepsakes for Wema Bank’s 80th anniversary and GITEX 2025, to events celebrating creative communities like the custom awards we created for the AniWe Convention 2026. The Carry1st Africa Cup is another example of how custom pieces can carry the weight of a moment and serve as tangible proof for major achievements.

For event organisers looking for custom trophies in Nigeria, we can help take an idea from the initial design stage through to the finished product. Whether you’re recognising competition winners, celebrating a company milestone, or organising an awards ceremony, let’s partner with you to create awards, trophies, and keepsakes that outlive the applause and carry the weight of the moment.
